The story
The Quevedo story reads like a Douro fable — roots planted in 1889 on the steep schist slopes of the Cima Corgo, passed through five generations of passion and precision until siblings Cláudia and Oscar Quevedo launched their own label in 1993. Today Cláudia, winemaker since 1998, oversees 102 hectares of vines plus a 25-hectare organic olive grove, crafting Ports of extraordinary distinction alongside serious Douro DOC still wines. What makes Quevedo genuinely exciting is their restless curiosity — Q-Labs experimental bottlings push boundaries, a botanical Dry Gin collection (cask-matured in old Port pipes) surprises, and their organic olive oil closes the circle of a truly integrated estate.
